I'm from Indiana too I had a dachshund named guechia (my mom named her) but we had to put her down in may because she was in pain and we could've treated it but she would've died later that week any ways and we didn't want to be greedy. She was 16.

But I'm very happy to hear so many people just loving their dachshunds. Pippin is really cute.
