awweee...my boyfriend and I

awweee...my boyfriend and I just recently adopted a Dachshund from a pound. He about 8 years old and it appears that he was abandoned by his former owners. He a very sweet and calm dog but he has seperation anxiety. He's only been with us for a couple of days and i wanted to know if you could help us with this problem.
