I was just scrolling down the names until I came accross Cookie's name. Well you see I had a dachshund named Cookie for 12 years and two years ago she was so ill we had to put her to sleep. Reading your story not only brought memories but also reminded me how special these little dogs can really make us feel, that was a rough ride for Cookie to get to you but from now on it will all be good. God bless you for taking in a dog like Cookie. You see after my Cookie I went through some rough months of deppression, you just don't loose a dog they are your family she was my baby.
