LACY is an intelligent and sweet 7-year-old miniature black & tan dame with a great disposition. She weighs about 11 pounds and is in terrific shape. She has a gorgeous black long coat with a “flag” tail. She is sweet and affectionate, and is a great companion who loves to go with you wherever you go – especially in the car and for walks on her leash. Her house manners are pretty good too, and she does not make mistakes if allowed to go out often. She had excellent care in her previous home. She is good with other Dachsies, but also a good solo Dachsie if she can have lots of human companionship. It took her several days to adapt to her new surroundings at her foster-home, but is now very well adjusted to her new environment.

Lacy is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and has had her teeth cleaned. She is heartworm negative and on preventative. Even though she is an early middle-aged lady, she will bring a lot of joy into some lucky home for many years. She loves sleeping with her foster-mom in their big king-sized bed, and she adores her foster-dad and likes to be in his lap. She is a companion dog, and needs companionship.
