Tucker's Story :)

I had looked for many months for a long coat Dachshund that would suit my husband. My search had been fruitless and I quit looking for awhile. Then I went to the Dachshund rescue page and saw Tucker. He had only been posted two days earlier. After filling out my application and some brief emails I went to visit him. Monti was so helpful and you could tell that she really cared about her foster dogs. When I saw Tucker, it was love at first site. He was exactly what I was looking for and I adopted him as a Christmas present for my husband. When my husband saw him it was love at first site for him, as well. Tucker is such a love and his favorite thing is to snuggle. Tucker, who is now Fawkes, fit into our family like a glove. Many thanks to Monti and Dachshund rescue for saving this beautiful boy. Fawkes is much loved and has found his forever home with us.
