Charlie (7 yrs.) & Sophie (8 yrs.) are needing to be rehomed as their Mama is no longer able to care for them. This team has been together since Charlie was 8 mos. old & are inseparable. They are both still playful - love their stuffed animal toys - but also love to cuddle with you on the couch.
Trained to the following commands "no", "in your chair", "go potty" and "nite nite" (which means they go to their crate for bedtime where they sleep together). Charlie & Sophie are not trained to walking on a leash as they have always had a fenced yard to run in until recently.
They have never lived with any other dogs but do not mind dogs that they have been slowly introduced to coming into their home. Since both have only seen cats outside (& never lived with any) it might be a good thing to go to a cat-free home. These little guys love respectful children & currently have frequent visits from children ages 12, 8 & 10 mos. (Particularly love the baby & are very gentle.)
Like most dogs they bark when a stranger comes to their home but soon turn into wiggles & wags. Occasionally, Charlie & Sophie will growl at each other over a toy or a treat but they never go beyond that point. They are both very healthy & happy little rascals. (In the pictures their eyes look cloudy...but that is the camera...their eyes are clear & bright & they have very shiny coats.)
Charlie & Sophie are neutered & spayed and up-to-date on shots. They are totally house-broken. Go to bed about 10:30 p.m. & up at 8:30-9:00 a.m. and no accidents.
We are seeking a cat-free home where they will have a fenced in yard & can be together for the rest of their life. It is heart-breaking for their current Mama to find them another home...but she knows they need more than she can give them. So she just wants to find the best forever home there is.
